Hello and welcome to this week’s episode of the podcast. Today’s episode is going to be short and sweet, but full of so much value for you. I mentioned that I was working on some new things for you. I gave a little teaser in the last couple of weeks. I’m finally ready to reveal a new resource for you. If you attended my training in February, How to Get Your Dream Job as a Woman in Pharma or Biotech, then you know that I talked about my Hidden Doors concept.
If you missed it, I put the whole freaking two-hour session on the podcast as a bonus for you all, so you can go back and listen to it. But here’s a summary of the Hidden Doors concept. Hidden doors that can advance your career to get what you really want. They’re strategies that you won’t hear about from your boss or from human resources. They don’t tell you the workarounds that you can use in your career development or leadership training either. And your work may have the reasons for keeping these opportunities for advancement hidden. You probably also haven’t heard of this from anywhere else because I’ve never heard anyone else talk about this.
When I was working in the industry, no one ever told me about this. I’m not hearing any other coach talk about this. This is something that I’ve cracked the code on with my clients. It’s also something that I did for myself, and it is really contributing to all of the amazing results that you see my clients get. So what I revealed was that these hidden ways to advance your career are some of the strategies that I use to get my clients into new jobs or promotions. And like I said, some of the strategies I’ve also used for myself, too. So if you hear client stories on my podcast or you’re seeing client wins on LinkedIn or anywhere else and you’re thinking, how did that happen when the industry seemed slow or she was already told no for that new job or promotion or There’s constant restructuring in layoffs or I have transferable skills. How are these people getting these new jobs? This is a piece of that puzzle. It’s these hidden doors. So I’m an expert in career development and organizational psychology, meaning human behavior at work. That’s a summary of what organizational psychology means.
And I’m a multi-certified coach. But the competitive advantage with me is all of that, all of those credentials, all of that experience But also the fact that I worked in the pharma biotech industry for over a decade. I led leadership development programs. I worked inside of HR for many years. I know what it takes to advance. I know how you need to market yourself, position yourself in the hidden ways that you can get your promotion or a new job. And I’m spilling the tea, as they say. I know what it’s like to be a woman in the industry, and heck, just a woman in this world. Plus, you add the industry experience, the career development, the coaching, the organizational psychology background. And then I want you to consider that I’ve been working with women in the industry full-time on just this, advancing their career, whether it’s figuring out what they want, getting a new job, getting promoted, or standing out as a leader for four years now. And in that time, I’ve worked with so many women one-on-one and in my group, Beyond the Ceiling, or in other groups that I’ve offered from startup companies to industry giants.
In that time, I’ve developed a lot of concepts and intellectual property, and I’ve used a lot of different strategies, and I just know what works and what doesn’t. And there are a lot of data points that I have access to. In addition, I partner with LifeSciences recruiters and my overall network. So all of this to say, not to give you just a rundown of my resume, there is a point that there is nothing about what I do, how I help, or the strategies I use that are generic. They are tailor-made for women like you, women in the life sciences and pharma biotech, and they are made by a woman from pharma biotech. So these four hidden ways to advance your career, I decided to put four of the hidden strategies for how you can advance your career into a practical guide that you can get from me right now. Oh, and, and, not just four of these hidden strategies, but also when to use each one and a deep dive reference for each one. So if you want to get more of how to implement that specific strategy or the details about it, I gave you that information too, as well as some bonus resources on the practicalities of navigating the job market right now.
I am so, so excited to offer this to you. It has been so hard not to say anything about this amazing resource that I have been creating behind the scenes. And you might not believe it, but I am extra, extra excited because I am going to make this available to you for free. There’s actually no cost. You can go download it right now.
